Tigers Ballgame

Yesterday we went to see the Tigers in Lakeland for spring training. The above picture shows the fans that are sitting out in the outfield on the lawn. The picture below shows where we sat. They were handing out trophies to the minor league players. Our seats were right behind where the table was set up. Could see all the players as they come out of the dugout.


It is kind of hard to see, but the pic below is the line-up for the game .


Leyland came out and did autographs. A lot of people had their baseballs for him to sign. They just threw them down, he would sign them, and he would throw them back. I had only my program, but he scribble his signature on it.

We were sure tired after the game. It went one extra inning. A few clouds in the sky, but not enough as far as I was concerned. The day ended up at 87 degrees. A long wait in the parking lot. We picked up chicken sandwiches on the way home. After supper, we headed down to the pool to cool off.

Not sure what we are going to do today. It is already 1:30 and we are just sitting around. Grinny is working on a puzzle and Carl was reading the paper. Grinny wants ice cream, but I told her she needs to eat something else first. So, looks like I am heading into the kitchen.
